About the Vacancy:

Textiles, fabrics and accessories according to customer requirements – these are the goods whose optimal procurement you ensure in their purchasing team.

Specifically, they deal with industrially washable clothing – and with their manufacturers, who support you in supplier management (quality) technically.

In your role, you inspire our internal customers as a reliable project manager who fulfils all customer requests (corporate design, quality, fit, etc.) and documents every project step.

You assess the clothing items, oversee washing tests and wear tests and, if necessary, initiate the customization (cut, material, etc.) of the work and business clothing.

You define the specific (quality) requirements, create model descriptions/specifications and ensure purchasing quality through supplier audits and evaluations. You also master technical complaints in a solution-oriented manner.

Ideal Requirements for the (Junior) Technical Buyer Clothing Technology / Textiles Vacancy:

Whether you are training or studying: You have a background in clothing technology and, if possible, professional experience as a clothing technician, preferably with knowledge of occupational safety articles and workwear. But ambitious young professionals are also welcome.

Important: You look forward to supporting customer projects from a purchasing perspective – with an eye on the desired fit and quality.

You work routinely with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ideally also with Koppermann TEX-DESIGN / TEX-DEFINE.

You are fluent in German, fluent English would be a big plus.
