SQL DBA – Electronic Trading – $200-250k

A highly reputable technology company that provides a suite of real-time electronic trading solutions is seeking a SQL Database Administrator for their growing engineering team in NYC.

The role will focus on designing and developing scalable database infrastructure and automation to analyze real-time financial data.

SQL DBA Responsibilities

• Work in a greenfield environment, focused on building and supporting SQL database solutions for trading activity and portfolio analytics
• Own database maintenance, optimization and performance monitoring
• Participate in automation and DevOps initiatives

SQL DBA Requirements

• 5+ years of SQL Server database administration and monitoring experience (2016 or higher)
• Experience programming with either Javascript or Python
• Experience working closely with DevOps and be able to participate in related DevOps tasks like infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of technologies such as Powershell, RedGate suite and Azure DevOps
