About the (Senior) Software Engineer Azure / AWS Vacancy:

As a senior software developer/software engineer for Azure or AWS, you keep your knowledge up-to-date and are interested in current trends.

You are also responsible for internal knowledge transfer and knowledge development in this area.

You will use your specialist knowledge to develop software solutions in the areas of IoT and analytics that are used by customers for data analysis and new business models.

You develop system solutions for and in coordination with our customers as part of exciting projects.

Ideal Requirements for the (Senior) Software Engineer Azure / AWS Vacancy:

As a senior software developer/software engineer for Azure or AWS (also Google), you have a university degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, technology or equivalent knowledge acquired in practice.

Knowledge of application lifecycle management, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) or analysis tools are a plus (e.g. Git, Jenkins, TFS, Azure, Python, MATLAB, R).

Curiosity and enthusiasm for analytical software and business processes.

Several years of professional experience as a software engineer or architect, preferably in a cloud context.

Extensive experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (C#, Java, C++)

A lot of experience with at least one well-known database system (SQL Server, Oracle), alternatively a lot of experience in Data Engineering or Big Data technologies

A lot of experience in applying principles of software engineering and life cycle management

Solid understanding of IT architectures, IT infrastructure (server systems, authorisation systems, networks, VMs…) and their administration

Desirable: experience in cloud technologies (Azure / AWS) and Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)

Strong communication skills

Flexibility in the use of technology
