Orbis is proud to be partnered with a global financial markets specialist as they go through their most exciting stage of growth in Amsterdam!

Our client is due to release their brand new financial trading product and is now looking to hire several Java Engineers to support the launch, the new product is completely greenfield and offers an excellent opportunity for engineers to take full ownership of an area within financial trading (market data, inventory management, product specific workflows etc.). You will be working directly with the Head of Engineering and closely with other areas of the business.

Techstack

Java 17+, Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes, TDD, agile, scrum/kanban, React for FE, AWS

Desired experience

• 4+ years experience working in Java with a clear track record of positive impacts/achievements
• Hands-on experience with the following: Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, TDD (React experience would be a huge bonus!) #
• Previous experience working within trading, financial services or a regulated environment
• Ability to voice your technical opinion as well as learn from others around you
• Strong communication skills
