Orbis has partnered with one of the world’s largest distributors of workplace products and services to find Sales Data Analyst to join their Benelux team!

Role Summary

As a Sales Data Analyst you will play a key role in providing valuable insights into sales figures, targets and market trends, working closely with the Sales Directors, Sales Managers and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with key stakeholders to provide them with the right analytical input to best coach their sales teams and make informed decisions.
  • Producing ad-hoc reports as requested by the management team.
  • Thinking proactively about how improve and optimise their sales support processes and reports.
  • Contributing new ideas and actively participating in the development and implementation of automated reporting tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s sales activities.
  • Contributing to the organisation and structuring of the daily work.
  • Accurately collecting and processing numerical data as well as performing detailed analyses to gain valuable insights.
  • Developing and implementing clear reporting methods so that the management team can make the right decisions based on the available data.
  • Working on a variety of projects such as developing dashboards, optimising data systems, optimising the CRM system, etc.

Requirements for This Role:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, data science, etc, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in areas such as sales support, data analysis, sales analysis, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, CRM systems and BI tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  • Dedicated and analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
  • A proactive attitude and an ability to identify problems and opportunities.
