Principal Software Engineer (.Net) – Fintech Unicorn – £120k+, with bonus and stock

One of the UK’s largest Fintech Unicorns, with HQ in London, is scaling its engineering teams – they are on the hunt for a Principal Software Engineer to join them.

This role involves anything from elite software development patterns to designing proper architectures and influencing cross-domain projects at a massive scale.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior technical leadership to contribute to the architectural design of their products.
• Look for opportunities to improve architectural design patterns, initiating change to remove complexity.
• Take ownership of and lead on technical and architectural decisions within your pillar, as well as hands-on work.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering (ideally with strong .Net experience).
• Experience in designing and managing large, scalable, high throughput, highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Strong experience in Cloud-based application development (they use AWS).
