Model Engineer – Autonomous Vehicle Scale-up – $220-270k+

A fast-growing scale-up that designs and builds AI-driven enterprise software for autonomous driving is hiring multiple Software Engineers in its San Francisco Bay Area office.

As a Model Engineer here, you would focus on designing, building, and testing the models that drive highly performant, low-level embedded driving software systems.

Model Engineer Responsibilities

• Work in a heavily data-intensive, real-time software environment to design, build, and test models
• Focus on complex modelling tasks, using machine learning, data engineering and deep learning frameworks
• Work as part of a small, high-performing agile team to ship high-quality model features, fast

Model Engineer Requirements

• A relevant degree (MSc / PhD ideally) from a reputable university is required
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and other programming fundamentals
• Experience with machine learning, data engineering and deep learning frameworks
• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Knowledge of technologies like C/C++, Linux, Spark etc.
