Senior Data Analytics Engineer 

Up to £105,000 + bonus
Hybrid, 3 days a week in office

Role Summary:

As a Staff Data Analytics Engineer, you will be working on a variety of datasets from multiple teams acting as the owner for critical data products, as well as being responsible for enabling insights on how products are performing and tracking metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and reusable data models for their data warehouse using dbt and Snowflake.
  • Design and implement Looker structures to enable users across the organisation to self-serve analytics.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to understand business requirements and provide data for analysis and reporting.
  • Find, transform, test, deploy and record data sources and data models.
  • Apply, help define, and promote data warehouse governance including data quality, testing, documentation, best practices and peer reviews.
  • Proactively improve and optimise analytics engineering platforms and workflows

Experience required:

  • Working as a data, business intelligence or analytics engineer.
  • Experience in data modelling and data warehousing skills within large-scale data environments.
  • Experience in SDLC in analytics including version control, testing & CI/CD.
  • Professional experience with SQL and data transformation, ideally with dbt or similar.
  • At least one of these Cloud technologies: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, GCP.
