They are a robotics manufacturer in the food and beverage industry looking to revolutionise physical industries such as food, transportation, and manufacturing.

Their mission is to transform the food assembly process through intelligent robots.

Founded over 4 years ago, they have experienced rapid growth and are looking to continue to expand their operations in the US.

Role Summary 

As a Manufacturing Robot Wrangler, you will primarily be working on the food assembly line for their customers, assisting manufacturing supervisors and operators to use robots effectively in their day-to-day.

Your main responsibility will be coordinating customer manufacturing plans with the robot set-up, as well as helping the customer team understand how to make the best use of the robots to maximize production.

The normal working hours for this role are 5 pm to 1 am, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating onsite schedule of robots and customer manufacturing plans.
  • Assisting customer assembly line leaders to plan for the best use of the robots.
  • Collaborating with line supervisors to integrate robots into the assembly line.
  • Configuring, setting up and running the robots.
  • Acting as an onsite resource for troubleshooting and basic repairs as well as training customers on operation and maintenance.
  • Coordinating and carrying out inspection, repair, and maintenance tasks on robots.
  • Identifying, communicating, and appropriately documenting product issues, complaints, and improvement suggestions.

Experience required 

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing support role, preferably as a line lead or production facility lead.
  • Ability to work 5 pm to 1 am, Monday through Friday.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document tasks performed according to SOPs and document problems or failures in the product, process or equipment.

Nice to have 

  • Working level proficiency in Spanish.
  • Experience in manufacturing automation.
  • Associate degree or above in a related major.
