The Company

Founded in the 2010s, this robot manufacturer is looking to revolutionize a variety of industries, including food, transportation and manufacturing. Starting with the Food & Beverage industry, the organisation is challenging food assembly processes globally, with the team coming from companies, including Google, Meta, Tesla and Amazon Robotics.

Following a 10x growth rate over the last 2 years, the company is set to rapidly expand their operations in the US.

Role Summary

As a Technical and Manufacturing Robot Wrangler, you will primarily work at the customer site assisting the customer manufacturing supervisors and operators to use robots effectively in their day-to-day manufacturing.

This involves coordinating their manufacturing plans with the robot set-up and helping the customer’s team to understand how to efficiently run the robots to maximize production. The role includes constant training and reinforcement so that the customer learns to operate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Sync up the robot timetable on site with the customer’s production schedules.
  • Assisting clients’ assembly line leaders with scheduling robot use; coordinating with line supervisors to send robots to the line; and setting up robots to process a particular ingredient and meal.
  • Programming and operating the robots; • Serving as a resource for troubleshooting and minor repairs on the spot
  • Plan and carry out duties related to robot maintenance, repair, and inspection in the field.
  • Provide operation and maintenance training to clients.
  • Acknowledge, convey, and accurately record product flaws, complaints, and enhancements.
  • When necessary, escalate issues to the proper resource or resources in order to get answers.

Ideal Requirements

  • 3+ years’ in a Manufacturing Support role.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Able to travel to customer sites 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience creating SOPs and checklists – Advantage
  • Manufacturing Automation experience – Advantage
  • Proficiency in Spanish – Advantage
