Role Summary 💻

As an IT Service manager, you will oversee the Service Delivery & management against the agreed SLAs, budgets, technology developments and release cycles. This role also enables you to play a key role in adapting the future product and project portfolio, as you will be regularly involved in strategic conversations.

Key responsibilities 🔑

  • Develop and maintain IT service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure that they are met or exceeded.
  • From a technical standpoint, steers and pilots sub-services, providers, and vendors.
  • Ensure that capacity plans for all related systems take demand into account.
  • Analyse, plan, monitor, and enhance the availability of IT services in accordance with the established service standards
  • Provisioning demand predictions as a starting point for planning and calculating the budget.
  • Keeping a close eye on the project timeline, risks, scope, and budget to make sure that installations and ongoing services are provided on schedule and fulfil client needs.
  • Hold internal service review sessions to discuss processes, performance, and service enhancements.
  • In an ITIL-derived framework, accountable for providing excellence in all facets of the service delivery function.
  • Accountable for managing security and carrying out risk management procedures for technical service operations in compliance with business policies.

Experience required 🧠

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in IT Service Management/Service delivery.
  • Knowledge/Experience in the supply chain or logistics space.
  • Experience developing and maintaining IT service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
  • Experience with incident and problem management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, team management & stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Low-Code Application Platforms; such as Outsystems, Salesforce, Power Apps, Mendix or a similar tool.
