Investment Operations Reporting Analyst Role (Portfolio Analytics) | Competitive Salary + Bonus! | Hybrid

Our client is hiring an Investment Operations Reporting Analyst! A really unique role that sits very close to the front office. Currently at 50 Billion AUM they have strategic growth plans to double to this within the next few years.

Role Overview:

To provide Middle Office Investment Reporting to the business. Working closely with the Investment Team to support their requirements. Oversight of outsourced functions, specifically the Investment Accounting and Equity Release Mortgage providers. Deliver accurate, concise data from our internal systems to the wider business. A strong focus on innovation and implementing controls to mitigate risks within the teams’ reconciliations & investment reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review internal reporting to the Investment Team and wider audiences (various internal committees).
• Assist with Team Board Reporting for Executive meetings.
• Exposure and Spread reporting
• Working on EDM projects
• Daily asset P&L attribution and Derivative valuations analyst
• Traded Risk monitoring i.e. DV01/PV01
• Credit Trade Logs and Dealing cost
• Produce PIC Weekly Total AUM Report.
• Provide FX trade recommendations to Market Solutions on the back of currency exposure and Liquidity analysis
• Produce weekly FX P/L reports.
• Running in-house pricing models for non-benchmark credit and ERM assets
• Prepare and check the daily review of the custodian’s daily accounting, custody delivery, completing any applicable investigation

Needed Experience:

• Strong operational experience with at least 3 years of investment reporting or investment accounting-related experience.
• Solid product knowledge, Bonds (Duration/Spread/PV01/IE01) and Derivatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA/Pivot tables and Power BI) – Our reporting tools are macro-driven and require the technical skills to troubleshoot and build upon existing code
• Ability to learn. Develop the operational, technical knowledge and skills to perform the role successfully on an ongoing basis within a dynamic work environment.

Desirable Experience:

• IMC or other investment-related qualifications
• Python skills
• Power BI
• Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication skills.
