Head of Business Development – Paris, France – €75,000 Base + OTE – Hybrid Working + Opportunity to spearhead the expansion of a global Real Estate SaaS organisation

Our client offers a well-known ranking system for evaluating the level of digital connectivity in real estate around the globe.

They are looking for a Head of Business Development to take charge of the company’s expansion into the French and Benelux regions.

The certification enables commercial real estate owners and landlords to demonstrate to potential tenants the high calibre of their buildings’ technological infrastructure, drawing in tech-savvy businesses and tenants who significantly rely on technology for their operations.

The Opportunity

Our client has decided to grow their existing, successful products through business development approaches.

The successful candidate will take charge of the French region, building out the BD team with the aim of expanding into the Benelux market.


  • Strategic Planning – Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the French market, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Market Research – Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential competitors. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Partnership Development – Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and industry leaders.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth – Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets, driving business growth through a consultative sales approach and customer-centric solutions.
  • Team Leadership – Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development team over 6-12 months, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, clients, and partners.

Ideal Requirements for this Role:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business Development.
  • Fluency in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience growing out a territory, and dealing with complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
