Fund Operations Associate | Competitive Salary + bonus | Hybrid Working – City Based Offices

Our client is a global investment manager driven by people who value the power of performance and relationships. With over 120 Billion AUM they are a major asset manager with continuous growth plans!

Their Fund Operations is a global team of 30 split across 5 sub-teams, all of which support the business by facilitating flows into and out of the funds. Fund Operations also own the relationship with our Transfer Agents and are responsible for the oversight of their processes.

The Role:

• Oversee service delivery of 3rd party service providers; ensuring adherence to SLA and quality of output.
• Resolve client queries received via telephone and email
• Investigate, log and respond to client complaints
• Attend and contribute to scheduled 3rd party vendor service review meetings (ad-hoc, monthly)
• Review KPI/KRI’s from 3rd party vendors and challenge where necessary
• Establish relationships with transfer agents and trading platforms
• Perform reconciliations of the fund bank accounts
• Identify key risks and ensure effective controls are in place to minimise errors and issues (both at vendor and internally)
• Manage & resolve operational issues and escalate where necessary
• Contribute where required to cross-departmental projects/initiatives

Experience needed:

• 2+ years of experience in an operational/ oversight function
• Exposure to/ knowledge of transfer agents and trading platforms
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, for example, excel, SQL, python etc.
• A methodical and detail-oriented approach to work
