Role Overview

In the capacity of a Fund Operations Associate within the OEIC Oversight division, you will assume duties related to supervising vendors and addressing client needs for our UK fund range. Your role will involve enhancing procedures and controls while also participating in occasional project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the delivery of services provided by external vendors, ensuring they adhere to SLAs and maintain a high standard of work quality.
  • Address client inquiries via phone and email, providing solutions and assistance.
  • Investigate, document, and respond to client complaints in a timely manner.
  • Participate in scheduled review meetings with third-party vendors (both on a regular and as-needed basis).
  • Evaluate performance indicators and risk indicators from external vendors, questioning and raising concerns as needed.
  • Build relationships with transfer agents and trading platforms to facilitate effective operations.
  • Conduct reconciliations for fund bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify significant risks and implement robust controls to minimize errors and issues, both externally and internally.
  • Take charge of managing and resolving operational challenges, escalating complex matters when necessary.
  • Contribute as needed to projects and initiatives that involve multiple departments.


  • 2+ years of experience in an operational/ oversight function
  • Exposure to / knowledge of transfer agents and trading platforms
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, for example, excel, SQL, python etc.
  • A methodical and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Proficiency in establishing and nurturing significant connections
  • Approach centred around clients and collaboration
  • Inquisitiveness and eagerness to learn
  • Skill in dissecting, comprehending, and absorbing information
