We are seeking an experienced MS SQL DBA to join our team at a leading insurance company in Stockholm, Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our MS SQL databases, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our MS SQL databases to ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor the performance of our databases, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of our data.
• Collaborate with our development team to design and implement efficient database structures and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Manage database security, ensuring the protection of sensitive data.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database management.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as an MS SQL DBA.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining MS SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database management concepts, including backup and recovery, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database monitoring tools and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
